One of the most venerated progressive freak folk albums of all time, released in 1970 on Vertigo. This obscure folk trio fronted by American-born vocalist/flautist Ann Stewart was formed in 1970. With a sound similar to that of Pentangle and Mellow Candle, they took their name from a pub in Reading and became a popular attraction in the folk club scene. Particularly memorable was their appearance at the 1971 Cambridge Folk Festival. They split towards the end of the year.
Original copies of the Tudor Lodge album with a fold-out sleeve into a magnificent poster are almost impossibly rare, making this the third most valuable Vertigo release.
