Spirogyra's last and finest album, the most progressive and most complex of their three studio LPs. Founded as a duo by Martin Cockerham and Mark Francis in Lancashire/England in 1968, they expanded as a folk rock band. Reduced again to Martin Cockerham and Barbara Gaskin they recorded the last album of their amazing trilogy in 1973 with the addition of keyboards, trumpet (Henry Lowther), flute and cello.
This is a fantastic psychedelic folk rock LP with the beauty of Gaskin's voice, the varied songwriting and eclectic arrangements. It definitely belongs to the top of the best albums of all time in its genre and is highly sought-after as well.
