German underground quartet from Aachen, founded in 1969 and consisted of Klaus Gülden (fl, perc, sax), Günter Krause (g, voc), Helmut Lieblang (b), Udo Dahmen (dr). With their guitar-oriented psychedelic Krautrock with blues and folk elements they played several successful live concerts. In Bilzen (Belgium) they supported Black Sabbath, Cat Stevens and May Blitz in front of 30,000 spectators in 1970. Later in the year they recorded their first and legendary album Weiß Der Teufel live in only three days.
Released as a private pressing in a small edition, it is now considered by many to be one of the best private press progressive albums from Germany and is highly sought after.
