This self-titled debut album from Prosper, a five-piece combo from Bottrop in the north-western Ruhr area, is regarded today as a lost progressive rock treasure. Evert Brettschneider (g), Fritz A. Frey (g, voc), Ernst Müller (key), Matthias Geisen (b) and Friedhelm Misiejuk (dr, perc) played a complex and imaginative symphonic progressive rock with jazz influences. Nobody knows why this talented band didn't make more recordings.
Their only album was privately pressed and self-released in 1975 in a tiny edition of 500 copies and was soon practically untraceable. Today it has completely disappeared into private collections.
