Founded as Cortinas in the mid-60s in Hatfield/Hertfordshire, region of other beat heroes like The Zombies and The Gods. Renamed as Octopus the four-piece group signed to Penny Farthing and recorded one album in 1971. The resulting LP called Restless Night shows British style pop, Beatles inspired pop/psych with a few heavier cuts featuring fuzz guitar and organ. It was popular in Hatfield but never found an audience anywhere else. So they disbanded in 1972.
As original UK first press on the Penny Farthing label it's a mega rarity and a hard to find collector's item today.
