Renamed as Kaleidoscope after signing to Fontana in 1967, the London band consisted of Peter Daltrey (voc), Eddie Pumer (g), Steve Clark (b, fl) and Danny Bridgman (dr). They released two albums, Tangerine Dream being their first. Impeccably produced by Dick Leahy and with rich instrumentation (incl. harpsichord and bells) carefully crafted down to the smallest detail it combines pop, rock and folk ballads with strong psychedelic turbulences.
Despite the support of the public, the radios and critically acclaimed, it sold poorly. Hence this worldwide sought-after masterwork of British psychedelic pop is so incredibly rare.
