Kaleidoscope were an English psychedelic and progressive rock group that existed from 1967 to 1969. Having performed since 1964 under the name The Sidekicks, they became The Key in November 1965, before settling upon the name Kaleidoscope when they signed a deal with Fontana Records in January 1967. After their first LP Tangerine Dream, Faintly blowing was their second and last album before changing their name to Fairfeld Parlour.
It is a landmark album not just in psychedelic music, but in that genre as it turned into prog rock. This album does not have one unworthy track on it, but one of its most significant qualities is this was one of the First Progressive Albums!
