Founded in New York as The Druids in 1965, they later moved to the West Coast changing their name to Druids Of Stonehenge. Lead singer Dave Budge, Carl Hauser and Bill Tracy (g), Tom Workman (b) and Steve Tindall (dr) recorded their sole album for the UNI label in 1968. First similar to the early Rolling Stones they now played an excellent hard core garage rock, featuring screaming vocals and some psychedelic influences. They they split up in 1969 without recording another album.
Their only LP is now one of the rarest (if not the rarest) albums on the UNI label, well-known for releasing some thought-after psychedelic rock acts.
