A lot of touring around London, in the UK and abroad brought progressive band Cressida a record deal with Vertigo in 1969. After their self-titled debut two years later the second album Asylum found it’s way into the record stores. It relies a bit more on instrumental passages and tends more to elaborate arrangements, without ever getting pompous.
A superb track is Munich with great and subtle organ parts and good dual lead guitar as well. Definitely a classic! Rare originals on the UK Swirl label now fetch high prices.
