Charlies was founded in Lahti / Finland in the mid-1960s by Eero Ravi on guitar, Kari Lehtinen (b), Ari Ahlgrén (dr), Igor Sidorow (flute, sax, piano) and Wellu Lehtinen (voc, harm). Influenced by Cream and Led Zeppelin they played hard rock, heavy psych with lots of loud fuzz guitars, flute, distorted sax and screaming vocals. During the years 1969-1971 they intensively toured in Finland and Sweden, often three times a week.
Recorded in two days at their own expense in 1970, Love Records released only a very small amount of copies, around 300. That makes this killer album one of the most rare and valuable vinyl records from Finland. And a real heavy one!
