Michael Heslop (g, voc), Alex Capelle (g, p), Roger Carlier (b) and Willy Stassen (dr, harp) formed Belgium’s most successful blues rock band Burning Plague in Brussels in 1969. With their dirty raw and hard blues rock they played a lot of live-gigs and even supported Black Sabbath and The Kinks at Bilzen festival in 1970. In the same year they recorded their first and sole album on major label CBS. They sold over 10,000 copies in their country which was a huge success for the genre. But it wasn’t enough so they disbanded at the end of 1970.
Released as a Netherlands press only it is really rare, especially in M- condition, because it is an absolutely great heavy blues rock LP.
