The third album by Aunt Mary released in 1973, is a big step forward into the progressive vein, influenced by Bengt Jenssen, the new organist who replaced Jan Groth. Their sound on Janus is more complex with symphonic keyboard-driven themes, mixed with melancholic harmonies and background hard rock elements.
Sadly, the group split soon afterwards. This final studio album, housed in an attractive gatefold cover is now a highly collectable album and also probably their all time best.
