The trio Ainigma was an incredible junior high school band from Garmisch-Partenkirchen in southern Bavaria. The band members were the teenagers Willy (org/voc) with 18 years and Michael Klüter (dr) and Wolfgang Netzer (g, b), both 16 years old. They released their sole LP Diluvium as a private pressing in a small quantity of 500 copies in 1973. It contains heavy fuzz guitar with West Coast acid rock leanings and distorted organ like early American heavy psych bands. Obvious amateurish qualities and the lo-fi recording on a simple Revox tape recorder with 4 channels in the Garmisch parish hall add to its underground charm. But the members were dissatisfied and almost no albums were sold. A year later, the band broke up.
Nowadays it is highly regarded in psychedelic rock collector circles and therefore very expensive.
