The band with the strange name, which refers to the Battle of Hastings in 1066, was founded in Mannheim in the spring of 1971. The line-up was Steve Robinson and Veit Marvos on organ and e-piano, Gagey Mrozeck (g), Dieter Bauer (b), Konstantin Bommarius (dr) and Geff Harrison from England on vocals. With Reflections On The Future they released their debut on United Artists Records in 1972.
Heavily influenced by English prog rock, they played an organ-drenched complex music with symphonic elements, heavy guitar work and soulful vocals. Sadly, this album wasn't successful and the band split up afterwards.
As one of the German heavy psych classics, it became a milestone in the annals of the progressive seventies and therefore much sought-after among collectors world-wide!
