DESCRIPTION
This solo outing for Vertigo in 1971 is the follower of the One-LP-wonder Affinity. Backed by Chris Spedding and Soft Machine members John Marshall and Karl Jenkins this album gives more attention to the singer. She varies from soul to blues, from ballads to hard rock. For me it sounds like a collection of her favourite songs which are ranging from absolutely great songs like Backlash Blues (from Nina Simone) to some gluey tearjerker which would fit in my mum's record collection. No wonder that it wasn't a commercial success. It sold pooly hence it's now a world-wide rarity.
